Thinking.


I stare out into the moon lit night.
The sky is clear and the stars are scattered.
Thinking of you and I can almost feel you near.
The wind whispers in your voice.
And I have to just smile.

The night is cool and inviting.
So quiet and not a soul around.
Am alone with my thoughts.
Been thinking of about you.
After all these years I still love you.

Never could forget you, try as I might.
For you showed me all that mattered.
For all I love and hold dear.
The reasoning behind your voice.
Im only sorry that it took me a while.

The moon is full and I am just remembering.
Wondering just where I am bound.
Just know you are always in my thoughts.
Rememeber that each day starts fresh and new.
Especially remember that I love you.
