I find many of my prayers have been
answered since I was but a much younger girl and not all of them have come in ways that I once thought impossible , I know this much though this poem is but the most inconspicuous way is always likely indeed. I love this tapestry its simply beautiful in its own special way in truth.

I don't feel prayer necessary for my salvation
Perhaps that's why I pray
You are definitely a part of a big 'Yes' and this is the way of creator. A surrender, a leap, a desire to realize and understand. A complete surrender, and that too unconditional. You have very beautifully conveyed the true philosophy of life through these poetic lines.
When there is so little time to love, where there is time to hate.
May God bless you

I like the way you noted you don't feel prayer necessary for your own "personal" salvation. In my mind~ this is a very important defining quality a believing person "can only know and own comfortably" in the mist of an illness or serious injury, when their faith is so strong, their spiritual foundation grounds their interior fear. Hope you don't mind if the rest of us pray for you...as I'm sure your mind is on to other meaningful projects. Enjoyed reading your poem as well as Junes comments...love is the best medicine as any of us who have truly lived, know for a fact.

Richard - your words touch my heart, my soul, and bring tears to my eyes. "I surrender to the process of that universe which no doubt serves its own purpose and in so doing serves mine as well." You have captured in this short piece a profound insight into the nature of being. I understand what you meant by "insubstantial", but remember, that depends on the observer. To me you are anything but! xo June
