Love Lost
by Sam Dreamweaver Martin
copyright 11-03-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

"Is that what you want me to do", she said,
"Chose between him and you",
"Don't make it difficult for me",
"You know that right now, I love you".
These were the words she said to me,
When I asked just where I stood,
For she was living in reality,
And I was wishing I could.
You see, we had been lovers,
For almost nigh on a year,
And cyber space had been our playground,
And alas, I am still living there.
To the wide open world of reality,
She had with desires, moved on,
And found much to her joy,
The love of a man ,big and strong.
And in the world of reality,
And in his arms held closely it seems,
She found the real true feelings,
Which before had only been dreams.
And as much as she said she didn't want to,
In love with him she did fall,
Leaving me distraught, broken hearted,
Waiting here, behind the eight ball.
Waiting here for her return,
To the world where cyber lovers do dwell,
And once more, within my arms,
Forever, lovingly be held.

Cyber relationships really stink. Anything could happen and you never know where you stand. You hit this one right on the head. Jackie
