Stalked

A sleepless night,
Drowned in madness;
A sunless day,
Drips down to sadness

How can you still demand
just so much from me?
I swear to God,
you just crave to see me bleed;
Please just stay away!
Please just leave me be!
I can not be stalked
by the fear in me.

Constantly ringing
In my bruised ears
Its hard to fight
the rosey tears

How can you still demand
just so much from me?
I swear to God,
you just crave to see me bleed;
Please just stay away!
Please just leave me be!
I can not be stalked
by the fear in me.

Please just stay away!
Stay away from me!
I can not be stalked
by the fear I cannot see

Please just stay away!
Please just leave me be!
I can not be stalked
by the fear in me...

The point you made in this poem was very well selected. The opening lines made the reader wonder if the poem was going to be about a physical person stalking the narrator, but the repeated 'chorus' proved otherwise. it was a very nice touch, since it made it more possible for a wider audience of readers to be able to read and relate to this poem. Excellent work! I especially liked the opening paragraph, since 'sleepless nights' are mentioned quite often in literature, but 'sunless days' aren't given so much attention.

I liked the way that you made it easy to picture the person, the emotion, the fight between the person and the fear.
Enjoyed this one for sure. Very good work. Keep it up!
