Honestly, It's Only a Game
by June Nazarian
copyright 08-11-2009

Age Rating: 18 to 127

My blood runs hot in cyber space
It’s all about the thrill of the game
With make-believe and artful allure
I thrill to savor decadence pure

Ravish me, I so adore
A daisy wheel of petals plucked
How many keystrokes will it take
For limbs to lock and love to fake

My fingers dance, electrons leap
From fantasor to fantasee
We play to sneak a candy pie
Delicious naughty flavor… sigh

Nothing is meant beyond the thrill
Excitement of being whatever I will
And when I play I’m deceptively clever
With due diligence no one will discover

Most carefully I hide deceit
Must not forget, delete, delete
There is no harm if there’s no clue
You do agree, please say you do

Honestly, it’s only a game

A/N: The voice of the poem, though written in first person, is meant to represent anyone in general and no one in particular.

i did not take this as a gambling problem at all. this is about hiding behind the computer and using it to have "fun." i absolutely love it the way you describe the game. Excellent write!
