Christ Goes Shopping

Christ Goes Shopping

One day, God, from His Heavenly Seat, decided to send a representative back to the earth to personally observe humans and their activities, though God knew what they were doing. It was His plan to inform his Prophets that man has gone from bad to worse. He reminded them how and why Adam had to be expelled from the Eden.

Lord Jesus Christ was nominated by God, for he was the one who had suffered the most through the hands of the humans in His time. No other Prophet whether it be Krishna, Rama, or Buddha had been crucified.

God gave Jesus speed and He opened his eyes in New York. By that time the world had completely changed and the shopping was mostly done on internet. One gentleman took Jesus into his house, thinking that He was a helpless stranger. It was not difficult for Jesus to master the skills of computer in a few seconds because God was sending Him the power and thoughts.

Jesus decided to surf the web for internet shopping. He typed “Husband and Wife” in Google search. The results were in millions. He entered the first site:

www.bankrate.com

How to leave your husband

10 steps to a money smart divorce

Financial tips that will pay off in the long run!

Jesus was shocked and ashamed. He remembered His teachings. He felt like a teacher who had completely failed. Suddenly, he found another site. The lines guaranteed happiness and long lasting pleasure. Jesus thought there were some good people who were thinking about the happiness of others. He clicked and entered the site:

www.happenmag.com

How to date more than on person at a time

Benefits of multi dating

What to tell your dates

When the going gets physical!

Jesus had tears in His eyes and the children present in that room were looking at that strange man who was weeping just by reading a few lines. He was so sad that he did not want to enter the world of the elders.

He typed “Children” in the Google search. The results appeared instantly, thousands in number. Jesus clicked on the first link and entered the site:

www.overlawyered.com

Let kids sue parents

Don’t be slaves to your parents

Fight for your rights

We give special discounts to the children between 15 and 18!

He could not go any further. He got up slowly and went out of the house, without even meeting the host. After a while, He was standing before the God. He had no words in his mouth.

Your story left me goggled eyed. God is everywhere and anywhere. He surfs the world at all times. The sadness of all that happens he sees, and he wants the people to call up on him for help in distress and woe. There are so many non believers in the world that destruction takes over. If in our hearts we believe, god will hear your pleading prayer and will answer it in His own way. You have the right idea in this story. Very interesting.....Mae

This work has a sad truth. If He were to come back, He would be saddened and upset at the state of mankind today. The ease of divorce (while marriage is supposed to be a sacred union), promiscuous behavior on the part of men and women alike, and more would make Him very sad. One would hope humanity would get better, but every day it seems to sink just a bit lower. I only wonder what it all will look like at its absolute worst...

I was raised in a Christian environment, but my parents are letting me discover the faith for myself instead of cramming it down my throat like their parents did theirs. Far from freeing me from any moral responsibility, it actually encourages me to discover Christianity little by little by putting the choice in my hands. Every once in awhile, I will read a book (The Bible or others) and learn a little more about it. This might seem like a timid approach to the more fervent believers, but from what I understand Christ wants the willing in the fold rather than those who were compelled. I also had to overcome the effects of a couple "Bible-thumpers" who preach that fire and brimstone awaits those who don't believe wholeheartedly as they do and a secular mindset that religion was "old-hat" and easily abused by unscrupulous ministers masquerading as holy men.

All in all, this story is right. He would be utterly unhappy with how things are today. That is a sad and unpleasant truth for all of those who hold the Christian faith as well as for those of us who adhere to other religions. Anyone with a heart and a mind can see the truth in your words. Hopefully things will improve before it gets too bad. If all else fails, perhaps we will not be around when things truly get terrible.

Good work.

This is a very powerful story, my brother, and oh so true. I'm not a Christian, although I find
the teachings of the Christ most beautiful and I dearly wish the world could be as Jesus hoped it would, but without evil how could our limited human minds understand good, There are a few minds who did and can transcemd good and evil, but these are few and far beteen.
The Buddha was one, I think.
Keep writing your beautiful stories my brother.
We at PnP benefit trendously from your loving wisdom.
God Bless,

Rich
