Ghost

by Mae Futter Stein
copyright 09-17-2009

Age Rating: 4 +

I see shadows by the moonlight
Ghost appearing this night.
Silhouette of a ghost haunting
Dark and spooked, seen on sight.

I feel rustling round about me,
Looking for what should be.
Shadows in the shades of moonlight,
Afraid of what I see.

Fear not little moonlight shadow,
The winds make the noise that rattle.
Halloween's a battle.

You did a very good job writing this one! I liked reading it. It flowed well and your grammar was good. Thank you for writing. I hope to read more from you.

I like this one very much! It reads so quickly, so smoothly, and before I blink, it's over. Leaving little chills. Which makes one want to go back and read more slowly. For equal, if not more pleasure certainly, but also to see where the magic is.

Skillful writing, this. ^^

Mae, this is a delightful poem. I love Halloween. Ghosts and goblins, children running around in costume, such a festive time. Good job, look forward to reading your other works.
