My Note
by Regina Pate (Age: 31)
copyright 11-17-2009

Age Rating: 1 to 127

Today is a new day.
Where is the blue jay?

Happy is the girl,
who has entered this new world.

Yesterday is gone now.
Tomorrow has come.
Tomorrow is now today.
My face to the sun.

I love your poem. Simple and elegant but at the same time very deep in it's meaning. Like the other writers who have commented, I too love the line "Today is tomorrow now". Very powerful line!
Thank you for sharing.

Regards, Rodger

The mind is a well, from which is drawn the wonders of life, each verse keeps the heart moving, we are poets, we write and leave, this verse brought smiles and warmth, excellent.. Walt
