The Secret of Dreams

Be careful! Don’t speak of the secret of dreams.
Its warmth can be snatched in an instant it seems,
Like our breath into mist on the cold chill of night,
Frozen dreams can’t maneuver, for their paths are too tight.
Even talons and fangs are yet fence posts and poles,
For they draw out our last breathe between gaping holes.
Longing eyes yearn, viewing the newness of knew,
But if that were to happen, my dreams would come true.

Great to see you back. This one is short and to the point but it has a great flow to it. I have read it a few times and it had a much better flow I can see your writing getting better there are no grammar or punctuation mistakes so great job keep on writing!

I like the round penning feel (spin) to this and I'm not even certain, why? Must be the images you've used. I need to read it some more. Nice to see you in the workshop.
