The Perfect Christmas Tree

To
Day
I want to
Find the most
Perfect tree I can
A tree that will stand
Out, throughout the land
I will put it in the living room
And decorate with the sun and moon
Light it up with twinkling lighted jewels
And decorate it lovely with all the right tools
I would be the first person in line, thus you may see
If there were to be a noble prize for my Christmas tree
At night it sparkles in a mirror, like a twinkling star glitters here
Music plays beneath the glowing lights each day throughout the year
Come see
How nice
Of a tree
We found
When we picked this one
Sitting on the ground
In a pot its own
Fully grown

Admirably clever arrangement of your words, and to shape it so eloquently into a tree!!! I like this very much and enjoyed reading it, and will give as a gift to all my friends, with your name as author, of course. Definitely a satiric answer to the cutting of tree for holiday decor- save the trees, write a poem!

Impressed!
Cynthia

This is an adorable yuletide piece that took special thought and care to redact and design.
This will surely bring felicity to all whom shall
read it and it will most assuredly stand the test of time to resonate well around the holiday season.Sincerely,Eric

Mae - this is so cute! I also did a Christmas tree shape poem, posted it last year for the season, it's called "Christmas Wish". Yours has the cute pot on the bottom, mine ends with the trunk, :). Shape poems are fun to do and this is a winner. June
