A CHRISTMAS BELL
()
The bells
Of Christmas
Ring a ling while
Angels merrily sing
And sing as Christmas
Makes its way around
The world while Santa
Has his white hair curled?
At Christmas for donation gifts
All bells are rung on different shifts
By Salvation Army and different men
To let them know kids
Need again

Very cute poem! It seems like not so many people think about the salvation army these days. I only saw one this year (but I work nights). I always throw a $20 in there for them.

Your poem is flawless, in my eyes. Merry Cheistmas!

Hi Mae,
Now that's a shape poem, pure and simple. Beautiful job! I love seeing those bell ringing Salvation Army people "standing tall" in all types of weather, along storefront sidewalks all over our cities. The people connection feels magical to me this time of year. Glad you designed a poem with these helpers/givers of heart- on your mind. Very nice. The tone is lovely.
