Poetic, beautifully woven, refreshingly flowing, and profound with life wisdom. I like your random longings and warm memories interjected in, but I specially loved the lines: "All covered in years, tears are the question" and "Never had perfection, just passed time; love is in the heart, spread in time." Life in a capsule.

seal the coffin
mix the steel
all is covered in years
tears are the question
subtle, intriguing images dancing in mind, diction leaving marks on every pause, mind racing back in time, inundated with unseen tears, writhing soul, and the stifled voice reach me to baffle, amuse, ponder, and finally admire the art of the master.
Wonderful!
God bless you

Hello Walter, Your beautiful poem brought out much emotion in me as I read each verse. I really connected the loss of my wife, just over three years ago, to the message. Time is so precious and love is so powerful, but kept in the heart, it comes out in your beautiful poetry. Thank you for sharing and I wish you a very happy new year!
Regards, Rodger

Walter,
Loving past memories to carry to the new year.
So nicely put and from the blowing soul placed and the door of someone you thought a lot of. So romantic as poets are and so full of deepness.
I enjoyed reading this. Happy New Year.
