Rich, this is great. Probably your best work to date. There is lots to see, lots to feel, plenty of action. Like your character, I ride shotgun anymore--state grabbed my license. Too many prescription drugs, four of which act as sedatives, perhaps why I don't write so much these days. I do have a new one about ready, likely sometime this week or next. Maybe you'll like it. Hope so. I reiterate--this is a class work. My best, Wayne

Richard - this is one of my very favorites of yours, especially because I know where you are coming from. Your brother Rob is a gem to be taken from us way too soon. Your admiration and love for him shines throughout your beautiful poem as does the nature of who is he. Your ride with him has been the gift of family love, I have also known the ride and share the deep anguish as we let him go. xo June

A beautiful journey painted with vivid colors, images and thought. Isn't it funny how life's smallest acts and gesticulations turn fate into fate? It would be cool if we could go everywhere together but more cool is the part where we part just to be ourselves - matter in a giant mixing bowl. Excellent Richard, -Alan

Alright Richard!
Absolutely love it. I like that rotating bubble gum machine. How clever. Sounds like a thrill of a ride even in your polished painted well waxed new car. That's what I call "breaking it in."
I enjoyed reading "You Knew The Time." Good one.
Mae
