TWO LOVERS
Two lovers walked in the cool of night
Under twinkling stars and moon so bright
Their hand together were entwined
Their love together did them bind.
The woods were silent, not a sound
And the perfume from flowers did them surround
Then from a distance a clock did chime
Reminding them of the time.
They then stopped and their lips did meet
And their hearts did miss a beat
And on his knees he did make this plea
" I LOVE YOU WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
His hand reached out and took her hand
And his she helped him up to stand
With tears in her eyes she Sobbed I DO
"THERE IS NO ONE ELSE FOR ME BUT YOU"
Then on again they began to walk
Not a word was spoken they could not talk
The look in their eyes that night said it all, you see
As Two lovers that night walked to their destiny.
