The Looking Glass

Outside looking in.

Seeing all that could have been.

Seeing them laugh,

Watching them play.

Wishing I was one of them.

I don't know why I am,

On the out side looking in.

Outside looking in,

Trapped in a hour glass,

Feeling my time slowly run out,

Feeling every second pass,

Knowing that as each day goes by,

I end up farther on the outside looking in.

Out side looking in,

knowing now what could have been,

Wishing that had I had the chance,

Wishing they could see.

I've learned now it's far to hard,

Far to hard for them to see,

The true,

The one and only me.
