IN THE FUTURE

In the future years if we are alive

Can we find a way to survive

What will we find in those years

Looking into our crystal ball

Will it tell us anything at all?

In the future years if we are free

Will we have to live by the sea

Is the future man what we know

Or will he be forced to eat crow?

Who will know if we survive?

In the future will we live in a cube

All our children born in a test tube

Pick the color of your baby’s hair

While sitting in a big white chair

What will be the results of it all?

In the future will we have to go to a job?

Or replaced by a machine named Rob

Sitting around nothing to do but get lean

Food being distributed called Soylent Green

The world over populated and depleted..

In the year 2022 will the movie come true

If we are still alive if not us then who?

Will we find the answer in time to survive?

In future years not long from now we strive

Twinkling of an eye, maybe it‘s only yester year!
