WILTING AWAY 

I LOOK BACK ON THE YEARS, TODAY

That have I just realized are WILTING AWAY

Mostly memories of people that touched my life

But the best of memories are of you my wife.

Many things have we been through

We faced them all both me and you

We went through much with laughter and tears

But we got through them all these years.

A picture I saw inspired me this to write

The hidden corners of my memories were brought to light

Even though our bodies are WILTING AWAY

My memories of YOU and I will never stray.
