Silence

by Jackie Edwards (Age: 24)

Age Rating: 1 +

I speak the words

of a silent sonnet,

Singing the melody

of a broken heart.

I have never known

This consuming passion

That sets my heart ablaze

With such a clarity.

Even though I barely know you,

My heart whispers your name

When I sleep,

And my arms ache to hold you.

I think I may be in love.

What passionate words,
so touching to know there's still such
passionate poets still out there.
I love it it reminds me of feelings I have
for a very special man in my life
yet its only a matter of time until I know if he feels the same as me.
Keep Smiling and Keep Writing too ^_^.
