Last Christmas
by Dian Bagent (Age: 21)
copyright 11-17-2001

Age Rating: 10 to 127

You were so sweet,
Your heart full of fire,
Kissing you was always a treat,
You were my one desire,

You fooled me once,
but never again,
I'm keeping my distance,
i was such a fool then,

I gave you my heart last Cristmas,
but you tore it apart last year,
And now to save me from my tears,
I will give it to someone else this year,

Authors Note:
It turns out that the last paragraph is off of a song that i have never heard by a singer i have never even heard of. So the credit for last paragraph goes to whose ever that is, and i am sorry, i really had no idea. (well i guess we learn something new each day)(gomen for the incoveniance) and if u wanna know what this poem is about it is about a christmas i had a few years ago.

Hi Dian,
Thanks for the Author's note clarifying that. Many times we do quote somethinge without meaning to because it was something we once heard and subconciously it stuck. This is likely the case here. (For others, gomen means I'm sorry in Japanese)
