Thanksgiving Day 2001

Here it is Turkey day.
No snow on the ground.
Im freezing because its cold.
Turkey is in the oven.
Wouldnt have it any other way.

Turkey day the day to eat and get stuffed.
Then coffee and pie and good conversation.
Seeing old relatives and old friends.
Truly a day for Thanks
And Thanks to the man above.

Not far behind Christmas on the way.
Sure by then there will be snow on the ground.
It will still be cold.
Christmas songs and plenty of action
Children counting the days.

Christmas another day to get stuffed.
Opening presents and all that fun.
Relatives and friends.
A day for thanks....
and for the man above
