Thank you all very much. I really enjoyed reading all these comments and perceptions on different masks we wear. It has been very interesting to read all the comments and insight to the masks we wear in our lives.

This is so thought provoking. We should always remember masks when we catch ourselves judging someone. And now there's the ultimate mask... the internet mask. How many of us have "different" online personalities?

Right on Bev! We all wear a mask of some sort, mine is an extrovert one that shows others I have no fear in social circles, but in reality I am a little shy. Wearing my mask helps me to overcome my fears in life.
A great write that only you could write.

What's even sadder is that some folks become the mask. After years of moving back and forth between mask and reality, the lines become blurred and the mask takes over, eliminating the person underneath. For some, it's just too difficult to be ordinary. Very thought-provoking, Bev. Thank you.

Thank you everyone. Masks are important. Without them we'd all be raw emotionally. They become a problem when no one sees beyond the mask. And the mask becomes the person ... and the one inside becomes lost.

Excellent write, Bev. I agree with David. We all wear masks and hide the parts that we don't want the rest of the world to know about. Very well done. Jackie
