Just To Clear Things Up
by Paulette Weaver
copyright 12-02-2001

Age Rating: 10 to 127

In the interest of the two stories I recently submitted, My Vegas, Days Gone By, and Cosmos 954, just in case there is any confusion, let me clarify a few things; I certainly would not want to mislead the reader in any way. First of all, these are both true stories and I was a part of each one. I lived in Las Vegas for a total of 34 years, I worked for EG&G, based in Las Vegas for 15 years, the company that sent me to Canada (Cosmos 954), and I worked for the resort industry, in Las Vegas for 10 years. The remaining years spent there I traveled with my husband, etc., etc., etc.
There seemed to be some confusion as to the details of the many years I spent in Las Vegas and I just wanted to make sure the reader understood.
Thank you.

I'm glad you clarified, Paulette. *g* You've been naming "sources", and so I was starting to think that you were creating true accounts from the POV of a fictional character, using ideas you got from reading those sources. *vbg* Either way, they've been enjoyable reads and I hope you keep 'em coming. Knowing they are TRUE true stories will have me even more fascinated. lol!

Thank you for the clarification Paulette. Life sure can be filled with many adventures and different jobs. Myself, I know I was confused around the time frame and this cleared it up. Sounded like it was quite the adventure you had on the quest to locate the satellite.

Often times, Paulette we have people who will argue a point with us. I get asked quite often, "How could you have done all these things and only be 37 years old?" Well, if you look at all I've done, it's been ranch work. I've only held two town jobs in my life and neither of them was worth writing about. You just keep on digging up those memories and telling those stories. You'll do all right. Jackie
