Inspiration
by Jackie Moranty
copyright 12-10-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

Someone once told me,
That nudity inspires,
But all I'm really getting,
Is a crack full of horse hairs!

He said I'd write like Chaucer,
If my butt I'd bare,
But this saddle, she's a chafin',
My baby soft derriere.

If I could take off my clothes,
I could write like Shakespeare,
It's December out here, though,
And frostbite is my greatest fear.

And when I go to ropin',
My knockers get in the way,
Because without a bra,
They really run astray.

Though its through my pen,
I seek my fortune and fame,
The only thing I'm getting,
Is "Lady Godiva" for a name!

Thanks, Terry, it was a fun one to write. Jackie

I don't know if I'll be able to write more on this. I caught a cold after this one. I'm going to have to eat some chicken soup and see what I can come up with. Nan, you have way more cajones than I do. You spent a whole night out there, I stayed a few minutes! Jackie

Okay and you tell me it takes more, um, "geegaws" than you have to winter camp? I fail to see the difference here--no, come to think of it, sounds infinitely more exotic and dangerous!!!!!! LOL! You had me rofl with this mental image.

Thanks, y'all. I don't know who I'm going after next. I'll just have to wait and see what Inspires me. LOL Jackie

Another legend bites the dust! Who are you going after next, Annie Oakley? *grin* Yee-Haw! Let the de-bunking begin! LOL Funny stuff, Jackie...

Yeah, Bev, frostbite could be a problem here. There are some places that I'd really rather not have to explain to the doc, too. Jackie

This is so funny!! Hey but watch for ol' Jack Frost, he's mighty "nippy" this time of year!

I might have, I might not have, that's for y'all go guess. . . I can imagine making chips would be dangerous, I can't even do that safely when I'm dressed! Jackie

12-11-2001 John Mcleod

LOL! This was so cool Jackie, I can see through your writing that you (Although no-one thinks so) have tried it out too!
Don't make chips either in this state as the hot oil is more than dangerous, lol.

Thanks, Robert. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Usually, I'm worried about losing a finger, but after this one, I realize there are worse things. . . Jackie

Let me see what I come up with, Sunny. You think a sequel is in order? LOL
Kay Lee, this is really better left to the imagination. It's not a pretty sight. LOL Jackie

Some legends seem better if you do not think about them too much,, I love this poem, funny and fun. Great work.
