I don't know who this lady was. She was in a hospital after a fall. Listening to her ramble with random thoughts touched my heart. What lies in store for us during our journey?
Chapters of Life
Deep shadows dark,
Light shadows thin
They come from somewhere far within
A gentle breeze with no sound
change the scene over again
Pictures and thoughts from I don't know when
Don't make me go Lonnie
I'm afraid of the dark
I can't go in the water
There may be sharks.
Set the table pretty,
the ladies will soon arrive
That fish is squirming on the line
It's still alive.
Forgotten pages turning over
And back again.
A tormented soul lying
frail and thin.
She is recovering now
from when she fell.
They say she stroked
And went through hell.
I saw her on the street today
She smiled and said
"Have a good day"
