Accepting Changes

Accepting Changes

Accepting changes is something I find hard to do.
In mean in coming to terms with.
Change is something that you can always count on.
For me the changes are all to many.
Its just hard to accept.

Sometimes change is good...
It's good to grow and prosper.
Sometimes Change is for the bad....
Then for that new changes need to be made
It gets me to wondering what's next.

The feelings that come with change, what do I do?
In coming to turns with.
I get to feeling withdrawn.
The thoughts that I have......are plenty.
Many are the times I wept.

I don't accept change the way that I should.
As hard as I try, no matter what I do.
Yet for changes, I am glad.
Looking at the years of the past decade.
Now I cant help but wonder whats next. January 6,2002

Barb I think this is one of the basic enigmas of life. How do we grow without change and yet how do we gracefully accept the changes as they come. Nice poem
