When China Went West

A long time ago I'm told
China was gittin busted by Atilla the Hun.
Atilla come flying outa tha hills in the cold
In many small bunches thinkin as one.

China won some battles but lost quite a few.
Too many fronts, Too many places to be.
Theyed take a step forward and slip back two.
Them barbarians' horses was fast as could be.

Some Chinese folks lit out west.
Cross nam and into Laos they fled
We're gonna win this war with the best
They brought back hosses that was speed bred.

Even fore folks knowed 'bout Texas
or rode a hoss frum Tennessee,
if ya wanted a fast mount,
tha west was where ta be.

Would those be Arab horses? Sounds like a good philosophy, "head west young man", I live in the prairies, kind of west.
Nice style!
