A Magic Wedding
by Sharron Tyrrell
copyright 01-13-2002

Age Rating: 13 to 127

A Magic Wedding

In a forest deep
near a babbling brook
lives a tiny winged beauty.

With soft green eyes
and auburn hair
she’s a minute princess faerie.

Her long flowing gown
made of velvet petals
carries the scent of roses.

Her Faerie Prince
who’s heart beats true
near a tiny clearing poses.

Their wedding day
at the break of dawn
two hearts will meld as one.

The fireflies
in the meadow green
celebrate in the morning sun.

Sir dragonfly
with his wings of green
will dance with Miss Queen Bee.

And the fire ants
will prepare a feast
of petit fours and tea.

Forever after
neath a giant fern
they will live their lives together.

Of this Kingdom small
they will give their all
to spread happiness forever.

This is wonderful

Tercet verse is tough. Not sure if it has a name but the rhyme pattern is nice, rather unique...

This was really nice Sharron, I can just picture the beautiful scene right now.

Good work!

John
