Our Boys
by Corinne Cannon
copyright 01-14-2002

Age Rating: 7 to 127

1975 – 2000 Apache (Patchie)
1976 – 2000 Cheyenne (Shy Guy)

“You were the best and you paid your dues
Your spirit is alive in my heart and its something I’ll never lose,
You are in my heart and in my soul
Now that you are running wild and free, its time to hang up that old bit
You weren’t just a horse you were my best friend
And I thank the lord for you and being in your life until the very end.”

You brought us joy and you brought us life, you will be missed but always close. We love you!

Welcome Corinne, this was a nice little one that speaks volumes for your dear horsey friend.

Lovely, loving tribute, Connie! When you are at the ranch say "hi" to Two Bits, I think of him as my baby...

A fitting eulogy to a wonderful team. Those boys were old friends for me, though I'd only known them for about 5 or 6 years..It broke my heart when it was time to say "Run Free, and fly with the eagles, Patch and Cheyenne". Bunny
