Listening

Listening to music, listening to the oldies.
Lohn Lennon is singing a song called Mind Games.
The music is blaring in my ears.
The words are bringing me to another place, another time.
I remember.

Listening to the music,my foot tapping to the beat.
I start to sing the words to the music.
Humming to the words that I don't know.
What a dull world it would be without tunes.
I surely would be lost.

Liking any kind of music but my favorite is oldies.
Like the song American Pie, Don Maclean exclaims.
Something like the song Philadelphia brings me to tears.
Doesn't even matter if the words to the song rhyme.
All sounds to remember.

Ahhhhhhh.... the music sounding so soothing,so sweet.
Nothing no better or universal as music.
Started listening to music a long time ago.
What would I do without tunes?
I surely would be lost.
