For Your Own Good
I know you think that I am mean.
That when I raise my voice you think that I am wigging out.
Your probably thinking there she goes a ragging.
I really don't know what you think except that you seem to not care.
I have my reasons.
Young as you are, inside I know you can't always comprehend.
You haven't been there yet.
It's called trial and error......
It's called life.
It goes on and on.
Someday when you are grown you will know what I mean.
Come a day when I won't have to yell and shout.
No more knit picking and ragging.
You will find that I did and do care.
For my own reasons.
Someday I hope that you can be a friend.
You will come around I just bet.
And I promise I won't call you the little town terror.
It's called life.
For your own good.
