Dream Flyer {Triple Stanza}
by Peggy Bertrand
copyright 02-05-2002

Age Rating: 7 to 127

Dream flyer
High in the sky
Forgive me if I pry
And ask you why you fly
so high up in the sky

You fly by as if to try
To encourage me from up high
To follow from in the hollow
the path up high in the sky.

My fear will not hear of such a plight
as if to keep myself from flight.
I watch you Dream Flyer
High up in the sky
I wish too that I could fly.

Not today I will not fly
Maybe tomorrow I will fly.
Soaring high above in the sky
I will fly like Dream Flyer.

I use to dream about flying which inspired this little
poem.

DREAM FLYER shows much merit, but could be even better if pulled together slightly. For instance, in the first verse "Ask why you fly so high in the sky" missing out 'you' and 'up'. Do you agree? Best wishes, DAWN in UK
