The murmur of a distant voice
Reverberates around my head
Like a lost opera singer
Whose sonata fades
Into a valley of eager
Yet tired Centurions-
I put my ear to the ground
Like an Cheyenne warrior
Listening for herds of horses
Galloping across the plains of a distant memory
Where rain dancers encircle the terrain
Quenching the thirst of timeless thinkers-
Our souls merge
Like a chemical reaction
Like a organic perception
Like an electrical muse
Once confused I now search for truth,
For the gleam and the energy
Found in open wounds,
Where unfastened spirits play
In the spilled blood of a growing dawn
I recognize a presence rising
Inside the astral sphere within us
I can feel it growing:
A celestial embryo
Revealing a new specie
Waiting to be born…
