She
by Nancy Pawley
copyright 02-25-2002

Age Rating: 13 to 127

A fluke of flowered nature
A trick of endless time
I am totally ridiculous
But fantastically sublime

A complexity in simplicity
A taste of French champagne
As I stand outside your kitchen door
Baking mudpies in the pouring rain

I'm the temptress and the little girl
I'm the end, the middle, the just begun
I'm here, there, and everywhere
Blended splendid wholeness in the one

Bad moon rising in your blood
A who done it presence shall I be
A living mystery in the making
A woman only known as 'She'

The mystery makes her even more irresistible than every woman already is! Men will kill themselves to unravel a mystery that will change before they get a grasp. She is and will always be special, like you! Anthony

"She" I remember a film and a famous book, a mysterious woman that no one can resist. Beautiful poem.
