Swaying to the melody,
only for my ears.
A gentle rhythm lulaby,
oh.. if you could hear.
The sweetest of affections,
playing in my mind.
Carries me so far away,
to a distant place and time.
The roaring and crescendo,
at the peak of your embrace.
The salty sweat from your brow,
falls gently to my face.
And when the point of no return,
goes beyond the crest.
You gently hold me in your arms,
and lie your head against my chest.
I run my fingers through your hair,
I still hear the melody.
The sweetest song I ever heard,
was only meant for me.
