Wasted Journey
by Eileen Waldron
copyright 03-01-2002

Age Rating: 13 to 127

The jubilant journey faded
fast,I'd travelled far and wide
to places of your jaded
past, and things you thought to hide
Lost in the labyrinth of your love
a scavenger I became
seeking you below and above
circulating your name
I went from the ionosphere
and tried the latitude
then on to the stratoshere
examining longitude
it made no difference the sphere
nor my hopefull attitude
I couldn't find you anywhere
I fast lost gratitude
what a colorful cosmic trip
If only you 'd been there
so I could feel your bold lips
nibbling my attentive ear
but alas I cannot find you
your next to me in bed
watching the game on T V
with earphones on your head.

This is wonderful..but in reality it's my husband trying to find me when I'm lost in my own little world of writing.
