Four Seasons
by Sharron Tyrrell
copyright 03-03-2002

Age Rating: 1 to 127

The changing of the seasons
each one a joy to me
I enter into springtime
with a newness grand to see.

Then comes the warmth of summer
vacations by the shore.
Moonlit nights of wonder
and happiness once more.

The colors in a new fall day
such shades of orange and red.
I catch my breath in wonder
does this beauty precede death.

Such sights are sent from heaven
delivered at my feet.
I’m lucky to be living
in this place that’s so complete.

Living in sw Georgia, we don't really get 4 seasons, but I really enjoyed this poem.

I love the seasons they are a calendar in theirselves reminding us when a year ends and begins. You have captured them well in this poem.
