Love Grows Slowly
In the love that is slow to grow
When you think about love at all
It's the best kind of love I know
The reason I think this is so
Is that happiness comes to call
In the love that is slow to grow
It promotes a more healthy flow
With less chance there will be a fall
It's the best kind of love I know
Learning each other from head to toe
Pleasing each other ways big and small
In the love that is slow to grow
Two people become one we know
Learning like babies first to crawl
It's the best kind of love I know
Those who jump the gun may go
Through love like it's a squall
In the love that is slow to grow
It's the best kind of love I know
