Language Barrier
by Amber McCabe
copyright 03-04-2002

Age Rating: 10 to 127

Frustration in the deepest form
Is simply the inability to understand.
Unknown thoughts and fluid tongue
Rattle the mind with views not conveyed.

Trapped within a world of words
That make no since, feel no sympathy,
Fill your head but are not comprehended,
And take the form of meaningless rumblings.

Words are not the greatest tools
If you cannot get your point across.
Tears can fill one’s heart and mind
As confusion takes its greatest form.

Yet all we need sometimes is a smile
And every barrier is broken.
A kind handshake, or a gentle hug
Will always be better than things spoken.
