THANK YOU…
Jacqueline Anastasia
We the students salute you, our mentors.
Through these last few years
You've been standing tall
In front of us yet allowing us to lead,
You stand beside us, yet catch us if we stumble.
You listen when all you want is quiet,
And see us with eyes hopeful.
You've watched us grow and expand our minds
You've taught, you've nurtured and you've cared.
We the students thank you, our mentors.
With words inadequate but said with love
We listen, even when you think we don't,
We watch even with eyes closed
For you are our heroes, our teachers, our friends.
We tear with thoughts of completion,
We know as we leave you will walk with us,
Wherever we wander, your faces will guide,
Your ideals will shape our futures,
So, we the students salute you, our teachers of life.
