My dear children, you are gathered around me,
not everyone has the chance to say goodbye.
It's my time to leave this beautiful earth,
let not me remember you with tears in your eyes.

You have a life ahead of you, be strong and bold,
live each day as if it were your last.
Give each other strength and love,
and cherish the wonderful memories of the past.

I'm going to be with your Papa now,
don't cry, I'm not in any pain.
I'll be in your heart, I'll be with you always,
look for me in the gentle rain.

Christie, look after your siblings,
for they will be looking up to you.
I know you'll do fine, you're a strong young lady,
you always seem to know just what to do.

Frank, you are the stubborn one,
please do what your sister asks.
I don't want to worry in Heaven,
if you've changed your under pants.

Lisa, my poor soft spoken one,
I pray that you will grow bolder every day.
You are so much like me in every facet,
strength, determination and boldness, I pray.

Charles, you are my baby,
so faithful, so bold and true.
I want you to know that I've always been,
so very proud of you.

I'm proud of you all, you are the light of my life,
I want you to discover how wonderful life can be.
Live long and happy, my beautiful children,
and please, do not cry for me.

This is my goodbye, I've been blessed,
with four children I cherish, I'm a mother and a friend.
Always remember how much I love you,
and fear not, for one day we'll be together again.
