Can I take you home,
come out of the rain and out of the cold,
I promise I wont bite,
make you some tea and cookies,
make sure your cloths are all dry,
please don't be afraid,
I have been were you are now,
I wont lecture you today,
just come inside and shut the door,
rest your feet I'm sure their sore,
close your eyes and take a nap,
the least I can do is share what I have,
good night and then a new day dawns,
maybe you will help me out when its my turn to fall.
