Aaron’s alarm went off he slid his arm over towards the direction of the alarm and he shut it off. He lay still for a few more minutes and then he rose up out of bed. One leg over the other till he was standing next to the bed.

He stretched his torso rubbed his eyes and then headed up the hallway towards the kitchen.

He made a half of pot of coffee. Thinking to himself as he prepared the coffee. Lets see I need to be over at Grays to meet all of them for the barbeque.

He thought about the guys. They were all really nice guys. They were married and had families and they had become his best friends. Well I will have to disappoint them with no date. He smiled and poured the first cup of coffee.

Sitting at the counter on a stool in his kitchen he sipped his hot cup of coffee. He slid the newspaper over towards him that he had left on the counter before going to bed.

His thoughts were tracing back over the previous night. It did turn out to be a busy night after all. He remembered the Cain's and he felt sorry for them again about their pain with their daughter missing.

He stood up and pulled open the screen door to the back porch that he had shut before retiring to bed. The air was warm and inviting he took a deep breath and another one.

What a nice day for the barbeque yes a nice day he thought to himself.

Across town At the Cain’s house it was not as nice. The weather was gorgeous no one could have asked for better. But the pain and questions were a lot to carry for them.

Detectives had been to the Cain’s earlier in the morning. Neighbors and family members had been calling with concern or stopping by to comfort the Cain’s.

Mrs. Cain’s eyes were swollen so badly from crying red and swollen. Her head was pounding so hard she hurt fiercely. Every time the phone rang she or her husband would leap to it hoping it would be good news about Karly.

The afternoon drug on also they seemed to be alone for the time being. Mr. Cain sat down in his favorite chair in the living room and was reading the paper.

Mrs. Cain sat in the chair next to his and she just sat there starring out the window.

She saw a lady standing out front of the walkway starring at the house. She watched the woman for a while who seemed to be deciding whether or not she should walk up the walkway.
