I wish you so very much,
cannot wish enough,
looking at you I get a rush,
love you so very much,
I know days pass by,
as fast as blood through the veins,
one day you'll be all grown up,
maybe carrying another's name,
full of terror I embrace,
The TV captures a young girl's face,
thinking one day you could
take her place,
I wish I could lock you up,
away from the world's sin,
but no matter were I stored you,
reality will still seep in,
I love you very so much
hold your tiny hands,
rub your back to sleep at night,
and keep you while I can,
Dedicated to my daughter
Cedar.
