Miraculous
by Eileen Waldron
copyright 03-16-2002

Age Rating: 13 to 127

In the morning I awake to find
You have already claimed my mind
I see you in the aspen glow
And in the crystal flakes of snow

If it's the rarest of the rare
Then I know that you'll be there
My eyes widen as you effloresce
And I'm rapt in your holiness

To be near such luminosity
Only fills me with more avidity
I feast on your ways of grace
I long to see you face to face

How often I have felt your touch
Yet, I fail to treat it as such
We always look for the miraculous
Forgetting that You are always with us

It seems funny how people pray to God for all they want, but forget to thank God for what they have! This is a great poem and I thank you for it. I thank God for you! Anthony

This is a beautiful poem of inspiration..it seems easy to forget God in the midst of our good times, but we always pray to Him for release from our bad times..as He is ever constant, so should we be.
Nancy
