Age Rating: 18 to 127

Sergeant Rolliard was finishing up reports with the guy’s about the events that conspired around the capture of those assailants.

“ We owe a lot of the success of this rescue to Terri.” Said Aaron

“Yes we do.” Replied the Sergeant.

News travels fast at the station. There was a knock on the door where they all were gathered. The door opened and in walked Detective Tom Rogers. So I hear and see that you guys solved the crime.

“No not us Tom.” Aaron said.

“What do you mean Aaron?’ asked Tom

“We didn’t solve it alone it was Terri who discovered the place they had her captive.” Said Aaron.

“And with her gift.” Said Bruce with a grin.

“I don’t believe it.” Stated Tom Rogers.

He left in a huff never did believe in ESP.

“Well he better learn to that is exactly how this crime was solved.” Said Aaron.

Chet and Gary asked if they were all done. Sergeant Rolliard said as far as he was concerned he had all he needed from them.

“Aaron and Bruce want a ride up to the hospital?” asked Gary.

“Chet and I thought we would go up and check in on karly.” Said Gary.

“Sure we will tag along good idea.” Said Bruce.

“Terri do you want to come along and meet Karly?” asked Aaron.

“Yes I would like that very much.” Said Terri.

“Terri I would like to ride with you if that is okay?” asked Aaron.

“Sure that would be fine I want to hear more about the rescue anyway.” She said.

“See you at the hospital guy’s.” said Aaron.

He and Terri walked to the back door to avoid the many reporters that had flocked to the Police Station over the past hour. To tired to deal with reporters they slipped out back.

Terri drove them to the hospital.

“I want to thank you for coming to me or we might never have found her in time.” Said Aaron.

“I know what you mean.” Replied Terri.

“Thank you for listening to a strange woman about feeling by a gift what had happened.” She said.

As they continued to drive towards the hospital they talked about all of the events of the day. And Aaron for the first time looked at Terri differently.

At first he thought she was weird some freak didn’t even know if he wanted to meet her. But she intrigued him with a view they had not checked when they first searched for Karly.

Her haunches all seemed perfect. She now amazed him with herself. Not to mention she was rather pretty. She had reddish brown hair she had a wonderful smile. She seemed intelligent.

“Terri, what do you do for a living?” asked Aaron.

“I’m studying psychology in college.” Said Terri.

“Fascinating good field for you.” Said Aaron.

“I assume you’re about how old Twenty or so?” he asked her.

“Yes I turned twenty last week.” Said Terri.

“Live with your parents?” asked Aaron.

“No actually they moved to the country into a new home they built and I live in the house I grew up in.” she answered.

”Hey why all the third degree.” She asked with a smile.

”I’m sorry I just was curious.” Said Aaron.

“After all we don’t know a lot about each other.” He said,

“You’re right and I want to know more about you also.” She answered.

They pulled up at the emergency entrance. Aaron checked at the desk it seemed Karly was moved to a room on the fifth floor. The two of them followed the corridor from emergency to the elevators. Aaron pushed the #5 button.

After exiting the elevators they headed for the nurses station to get karly room number.

“Excuse me he asked and elderly nurse. We were looking for karly Cain’s room.
“ Said Aaron.

She looked at Terri and Aaron with a questioning expression.

“You two family of Karly?” she asked.

“No I’m officer Aaron Wolten showing her his badge. “ he replied.” And this lady helped rescue Karly.” He answered.

Well in that case it is room #506 right down at the end of the hall.

As they approached the door of karly room the two officers still guarding against the press greeted them.

“Hi guys how is it going?’ asked Aaron.

“Just fine Aaron.” Replied one officer.

They knocked on the door and then slowly entered the room.

Karly was sitting up in her bed. Her Mom and Dad were on either side of her.
Karly seen Aaron and she made a smile you could tell it hurt due to the bruises on her face.

“Hi Karly and Mr. And Mrs. Cain.” Said Aaron.

“Karly I brought someone to meet you.” Said Aaron.

“Terri Miles she is the lady responsible for actually finding you.” Said Aaron.

“Terri my parents have been telling me about you visit.” Said Karly.

“ I want to thank you for contacting Officer Aaron about me.” Said Karly.

“I do hope we can meet again and talk about this whole incident.” Said Mrs. Cain.

She walked over and gave Terri a hug. Marcus joined her with a hug also.

“We are so grateful to you Terri.” Said Marcus.

“ Karly looks exhausted.” Said Aaron.

“Yes she does.” Agreed Terri.

“We will see you all again.” Said Aaron.

They waved good-bye and left the room.

It was getting late and they both had a long day so Terri drove Aaron down to pick up his car.

“See you later.” She said.

“Id like to see you sooner if you don’t mind.” He said.

“Do you date?’ asked Aaron.

“Yes I do from time to time.” She replied.

“If your asking me if I’m married or going with anyone the answered is no.,” she added.

“Good I’d like to take you out sometime.” Said Aaron.

“I’d like that going out would be fun.” She replied.

She drove away honked her horn and waved.

Aaron started his car and then he also drove off headed for home.
