Aaron drove up in his driveway. He shut off the lights and just sat there it was only 8:00 p.m. But he was exhausted.
He opened the door and walked to the front door of his house. Turning the key he thought about Terri. She really did have a gift. He smiled and went inside.
He headed for the shower took a long warm shower. Walked down the hall to his bedroom laid back on his bed and didn’t remember a thing until the next morning when he woke up.
Terri reached home also on the other side of town. She was thinking about the whole last two days.
All that had evolved. And she was so happy that Karly was a live. Poor thing she thought to her self about what those animals had done to that innocent young girl.
Yes she thought I do want to get to know Karly. Thru my gift I have felt her pain anguish first hand.
I will share more with her again soon.
She also headed for the shower she felt dusty and sweaty from sitting in the weeds all day on the bank by the river.
I’m glad I went along and called for the backup. She thought to herself Aaron didn’t seem upset about it.
And if it had not gone so easy with Aaron and Bruce they would have needed the back up. At any rate it was over. And Karly was now safe.
She finished her warm shower and retreated to her bedroom she rubbed lotion all over her body and slipped on a night gown crawled into bed and pulled up the sheet real tight she laid there with her eyes open thinking about Aaron.
She also took time this evening to see him differently not a an officer but as a man and attractive one he is very fit. And good-looking he seems so nice.
I love his smile it is a warm smile.
She slowly nodded off to sleep. And she also didn’t remember a thing until the next morning.
She was woke to the sound of the alarm sounding off and the Milkman was dropping off her milk.
She headed down the stairs to the back door to retrieve the milk when the phone started ringing.
She opened the door and brought the milk in locking the screen door behind her.
