Magic of the Bard
by Connie Marcum Wong
copyright 05-02-2001

Age Rating: 18 to 127

If left alone......
I dwell in the enchanted land of light and love
Where the sentimental musings of the bard
Express exciting moments
Forever frozen in time by the pen,
And gifted freely
To those who have a love of poetry.

Distributing secret thoughts and desires
For others to share and rejoice in reading.
I am stilled by the magic mirth felt,
When a poem so touches my heart that it
Hastens tears to stain smiling cheeks
And leaves me a little breathless,
With a desire of wanting still more.

What you talk about here is what alot of people don't understand. The poem must say something that provokes thought, not just for amusement. Thanks, Anthony
