An Occasional Whim
by Eileen Waldron
copyright 03-18-2002

Age Rating: 18 to 127

Explosion of meteoric activity
Coursing through my brain

On the right side where creativity
Rivals the thoughts of the sane

That form multiple questions
Pertaining to inner selections

That eliminate outer accoutrements
Which denies free souls contentment

Where art thou O Melchizedek
Art thou not still of Salem

Whose name denotes what I seek
Peace in the inner parts not mayhem

Yet, some outer pleasures not meek
But exciting enough to satisfy

The bold of heart, but not to sin
Only to live an occasional whim.

Eileen T. Waldron © 2001

I have found that the occasional whim usually gets me into trouble. I do think that this is a good read though! Anthony

I really enjoyed the last 2 lines..I have plenty of difficulty in being bold, although I have lived more than just an occasional whim.
