Accident

I am tired,
May I sit down by you,
my clothes are wet and rugged,
does it make you wanna move,

Havent eaten for about three days,
do you know were I can get some food,
I feel a terrible aching inside,
and my toes are coming out of my shoes,

Oh please dont leave ,
I could really use a friend,
see there has been an accident with
my wife and my children,

They ran us to the hospital
after they removed us from the car,
My youngest died in the abulance
in my very arms,

My oldest held on until surgery
and died on the hospital bed

My wife waited until I
snuck out of my room,
by her side I kissed her cheek
and her spirit fled,

I cant believe
one drunk driver could
do all this to me,

I'm feeling faint
I believe it's time for
me to be with my family
