Goodbye Jfk Jr.
by Bea Sheftel
copyright 04-05-2002

Age Rating: 10 to 127

"The plane is missing," I woke to hear
that hot Saturday filled with fear.
In prayer and hope the days went on
searching for the girls and John-John.
The slain President's son should live on,
but word came soon, they were all gone.
Tightly held in the arms of angels now,
they winged toward heaven through clouds
of earthly cares, to smiles in the blue sky
where Jack and Jackie waited side by side
for their son to return and abide
with Lauren and Carolyn, his beautiful bride.

You have done a wonderful tribute to John-John as the world knew him. Beautiful.

Ah, I remember that day....how I followed the news so closely...you've done a great job with this, Bea!
